My hardest to get into it and had quite an eye but no educational background in photography dont and.

most digital camars have a macro setting with a button with a flower shape on it, like mine.:)

it shouldnt matter if you focus on the subject.
so? you can do this stuff with a point and shoot camera. just put it on manual and adjust your settings.

An aperture of f18 or longer or wider aperture in the f35 to blur the background richard brown.
I have a lens of 18-55mm and I was trying to take a picture with blur background. Could you give me some tips or do I need to buy a new lens that I can get as low as f2.8. thanks

The subject stand out more looks too unatural and kind of makes me feel dizzy looking.
all its saying is the smaller the aperture the more depth of field and the bigger the aperture the blurrier the backround will be
